Information on Examinations
Modalities
- There will be two midterm exams (so-called qualified participation which
are the prerequisite for the participation in the final exam. - All exams are in written form.
- Participation in all three parts is mandatory.
- The course mark will be calculated from the points achieved in the final exam only.
- If you do not pass the final exam in summer semester 2018, the repetition of the exam will take place
near the end of the winter semester 2018/2019. Details about the date, time and location of the exam are as follows:
Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 09:00 a.m. in room P1.6.02.1
The duration of the exam is 2 hours (i.e. 120 minutes). Please arrive in the examination room before the scheduled time so that the exam can start as planned.
Required Identification
Please bring a photo ID (e.g. student ID, ID-card, or driving license) for identification.
Permitted Aids
There are no aids allowed except for calculators. Programmable calculators or those with a plot function to display graphs are not allowed. Furthermore, keeping smartphones on the table and wearing smartwatches is prohibited.
Midterms
Midterm tests will take place at the beginning of the lecture, while the dates of the tests will be announced at the start of the semester.
The duration of a test will be 30 minutes. After the test, the lecture and exercise will continue. Please be there in time so that the tests can begin as scheduled.

Final Exam
The final exam for the summer semester 2018 will take place on
Monday, July 30, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in the room P7.2.01
The duration of the exam is 2 hours (i.e. 120 minutes).
