Dear students,

as announced last week, there will be a midterm exam Tuesday next week (11.06.2013). The quiz will last for about 30 minutes and is taking place during part of the lecture. The exam aims to test your general understanding of the topics taught so far in this course and your ability to apply the techniques you have learned.

The participation is optional. If you participate, the exam will make up 25 % of your final grade.

We do encourage you to take this chance.
