Kurzbeschreibung / short description
Die Veranstaltung "Robotik" stellt ein Basismodul im Katalog "Kognitive Systeme" im Masterstudiengang "Elektrotechnik" und verwandten Studiengängen dar. Die Veranstaltung stellt grundlegende Konzepte und Techniken im Bereich der mobilen Robotik vor. Die Herausforderungen für die Entwicklung autonomer intelligenter Systeme werden analysiert und die aktuellen Lösungen vorgestellt. The course "Robotics" is a fundamental module in the catalog "Cognitive Systems" of the Electrical Engineering Master's and related courses of studies. The course introduces basic concepts and techniques in the field of mobile robotics. The challenges for the development of autonomous intelligent systems will be analyzed and the current solutions will be presented.

Die Veranstaltung "Robotik" stellt ein Basismodul im Katalog "Kognitive Systeme" im Masterstudiengang "Elektrotechnik" und verwandten Studiengängen dar. Die Veranstaltung stellt grundlegende Konzepte und Techniken im Bereich der mobilen Robotik vor. Die Herausforderungen für die Entwicklung autonomer intelligenter Systeme werden analysiert und die aktuellen Lösungen vorgestellt.

The course "Robotics" is a fundamental module in the catalog "Cognitive Systems" of the Electrical Engineering Master's and related courses of studies. The course introduces basic concepts and techniques in the field of mobile robotics. The challenges for the development of autonomous intelligent systems will be analyzed and the current solutions will be presented.

Lernziele / learning objectives

Faktenwissen: factual knowledge	Das Lernziel besteht darin, den Studierenden Kenntnisse der methodischen Grundlagen der Robotik als Basis für wichtige Anwendungsfelder, u. a. Rettungssysteme Überwachungstechnik Landwirtschaft zu vermitteln. The educational objective is to provide students with a knowledge of the methodical fundamentals of digital image processing as a basis for important applications, such as Rescue systems Monitoring systems Farming

Methodenwissen: methodic competence	Methoden zur Bewegungsplanung und -steuerung von mobilen Robotern Methods for motion planning and control of mobile robots

Transferkompetenz: transfer competence	Übertragung von Kenntnissen der Systemtheorie und der Regelungstechnik auf Roboter. Transferring the acquired knowledge of the system theory and control technology to robots.

Normativ-bewertende Kompetenz: Normative competence	Erkennen und Bewerten von Funktion und Verhalten komplexer technischer Prozesse und ihre Einbindung in das gesellschaftliche Umfeld unter ethischen Gesichtspunkten. Identification and evaluation of function and behavior of complex technical processes and their integration into the social environment while also considering ethical aspects .

Schlüsselqualifikation: (soft) skills	Souveräner Umgang mit dem vermittelten Theorie- und Methodenschatz Competent handling of the theories and methods acquired

Methodische Umsetzung / methodic implementation
Die theoretischen und methodischen Grundlagen werden zunächst im Rahmen einer Vorlesung eingeführt. Eine Einübung der präsentierten Methoden erfolgt danach im Übungsteil. Abschliessend werden einfache Algorithmen von den TeilnehmerInnen implementiert, getestet und angewendet. Im Praktikumsteil werden die notwendigen Programmierkenntnisse vermittelt, er ist aber ausdrücklich nicht als Programmierkurs gedacht. The theoretical and methodical fundamentals will be introduced during the lecture. The methods presented will be practiced during the subsequent exercise / lab part. Finally, the participants will implement, test, and apply simple algorithms. The necessary programming skills will be taught during the practical, this is explicitely not considered a programming course.

Methodische Umsetzung / methodic implementation

Die theoretischen und methodischen Grundlagen werden zunächst im Rahmen einer Vorlesung eingeführt.
Eine Einübung der präsentierten Methoden erfolgt danach im Übungsteil.
Abschliessend werden einfache Algorithmen von den TeilnehmerInnen implementiert, getestet und angewendet.
Im Praktikumsteil werden die notwendigen Programmierkenntnisse vermittelt, er ist aber ausdrücklich nicht als Programmierkurs gedacht.
