Information on Examinations
Modalities
- There will be two midterm exams during the lecture period and a final exam at the end of the semester.
- All exams are in written form.
- Participation in all three parts is mandatory.
- Students accumulate points:
- 25 points per midterm and
- 100 points for final exam.
- The course mark will be calculated from the points achieved in the three parts.
- If you do not pass the exam in summer 2017 or participate in the exam for the first time at least one semester later, the marks from the midterm exams are lost. In this case, the final mark will be the mark of the final exam.
- On request, the midterm exams may be repeated in the next run of the course.
Required Idenfication
Please bring a photo ID (e.g. student ID, ID, drivers license) for identification.
Permitted Aids
There are no aids allowed except for calculators. Programmable calculators or those with a plot function to display graphs of functions are not allowed. Furthermore keeping smartphones on the table and wearing smartwatches is prohibited.
Midterms
The midterm tests will take place at the beginning of the lecture on the dates indicated below. The duration of the test will be 30 minutues. After the
test, the lecture and exercise will continue. Please be there on time so that the tests can begin as scheduled.
