Information on Midterm Examinations

Modalities

In connection with the midterm examinations, the following procedures must be considered.

• There will be two midterm exams during the lecture period.
• Participation in the midterms is mandatory and relevant for the final exam.
• The marks for the tests will be part of the final mark.
• From two tests only the result from the best one will be used.
• The course grade is composed of 1/3 from the test result and 2/3 of the final exam grade.
• If you do not pass the exam in summer 2015 or participate in the exam for the first time at least one semester later, the marks from the midterm exams are lost. In this case, the final mark will be the mark of the final exam.
• On request, the midterm exams may be repeated in the next run of the course.

Required Idenfication

Please bring a photo ID (e.g. student ID) for identification

Permitted Aids

There are no aids allowed except for calculators. Programmable calculators or those with a plot function to display graphs of functions are not allowed.

Dates

The tests will take place at the beginning of the lecture or exercise, respectively, on the dates indicated below. After the tests, the lecture or exercise continues. Please be there on time at 09:15 am so that the tests can begin on schedule.
